A production drawing from the MGM Studios animated film "Slap Happy Lion" (1947). Featuring a charming illustration of the Lion with firecrackers exploding in his head, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x9", the drawing is in very good condition with pin holes in the corners due to studio use, some age-related yellowing and paper discoloration, and minor edge wear.
