A production cel and non-matching drawing from the Nickelodeon Studios animated series “The Ren & Stimpy Show” (1991-1996). Featuring Ren layered with roadkill to attempt to control his unlucky fate, the hand-painted cel and graphite drawing were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled “Superstitious Stimpy,” which aired on April 1, 1995. The cel measures 10.5”x20.5” and the drawing 10.5”x12.5”, both with a character image size of 5.25”x4.57”. The cel and drawing are in very good condition with light scratches, paint and black line fade, minor curling and creasing to the right edge of the cel, and minor age-related edge and corner wear to the drawing.
