A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Pointer" (1939). Featuring the main construction notes for Pluto and his size comparison with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 10”x12” overall, with the character image measuring 7.5”x10.5”, the model sheet is in very good condition with minor discoloration, edge and corner wear, staple holes, and slight staining along the left edge.
