A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1940s). Featuring Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Standard design model sheets were used by animators for multiple productions during a time period. Measuring 11.5”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 10.5”x13”, the model sheet is in very good condition with notable discoloration, light edge wear, staple holes, and notable staining around the upper left corner.
